A Space for What Feels Unsayable
If you are carrying shame you haven’t been able to say out loud— about compulsive sexual behaviour, about a relationship that doesn’t fit the expected shape, or about trauma that still lives in your body— this is a place where you won’t have to explain or defend yourself.
About Me (she, her)
I am a qualified Integrative Yoga Psychotherapist, Clinical Mind & Body Therapist and Nervous System Regulation Specialist, offering a holistic, collaborative approach to therapy. I work both online and face-to-face, with sessions held in a tranquil room in Battle, East Sussex.
I support adults of any age, gender or identity who are presenting with significant trauma, addictions, shame, anxiety, depression, or complex emotional challenges. I have a particular interest in working with people who are struggling with Compulsive Sexual Behaviour Disorder (CSBD), commonly referred to as pornography or sex addiction, as well as with the partners affected. You can find out more about how I work with this here.
My practice is rooted in Integrative Yoga Psychotherapy (IYP), a model that integrates talking therapy with mindfulness, embodied somatic practices, functional breathing, and Buddhist wisdom. In practice, this means we talk, but we also work with breath, posture and bodily sensation— because deep-seated anxiety, shame and trauma don’t only live in the mind; they live in the body. My work is informed by different evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Psychodynamic and Existential Psychotherapy. This allows me to adapt our work to your needs, rather than asking you to fit into one rigid method.
Inclusivity & Affirming Care
My practice is LGBTQ+ inclusive. I am competent to work with Gender, Sexual and Relationship Diversity (GSRD) and offer kink- and BDSM-affirming therapy. I understand that diverse relationship structures and sexual identities are valid— and that therapy should support your authentic life, not question it.
Clinical Experience & Qualifications
I bring extensive clinical experience to my private practice. I am part of the Therapy Team at Priory Ticehurst Hospital, and have worked in NHS acute care units across Sussex. This background means I am comfortable sitting with crisis, dissociation and complex presentations — you don’t need to be "well enough" for therapy here; we can work with whatever brings you through the door. I am also a psychotherapist at The Old Bank Wellbeing Trust, a mental health charity in Eastbourne providing low-cost counselling, which reflects my commitment to accessibility.
Professional Membership
I am a Fellow of the National Council of Integrative Psychotherapists (NCIP) and serve on their Ethics, Safeguarding and Professional Standards Committee. I am a full registered member of the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). I am also registered student member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Addiction and Compulsivity (ATSAC) and the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT), ensuring my work with these issues remains current and deeply informed. All my work is bound by strict Codes of Ethics and Professional Standards.
Outside the Room
You may be curious about who I am beyond the therapy room. I am a Martial Artist (1st degree Black Belt in Wado Ryu Karate) and assistant instructor. Karate is a physical and spiritual practice I honour very deeply, and an art that guides my commitment to discipline, respect and personal growth.
