This statement explains what information I -Linda Bonavoglia- collect, and how I use it. As part of my therapy practice, I process certain personal data about you and recognise the need to treat it in an appropriate and lawful manner. The purpose of this notice us to make you aware of how I handle your information.

I recognise that trust is the foundation of our work. I take security and data protection very seriously and adhere to the guidelines published in the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, applicable from the 25th May 2018, and as required by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, applicable from the 19th June 2026.

how I use your information

I use your information solely to:

Facilitate the therapeutic support you have requested.
Manage appointments and communications related to your care.
Ensure the safety and continuity of your support.

I do not use your data for marketing purposes or share it beyond what is necessary for your care.

storage and retention

Your personal details are stored securely as password-protected digital records.
I retain this administrative information for a period of 3 years following your last contact, after which it is securely destroyed.

sharing your information

I respect your privacy and do not share your information with third parties except in the following specific situations:

Your Request: I may share information with other professionals or services at your explicit request (this must be made in writing).
Legal Obligation: I may be required to share information by law (e.g., in cases of serious risk of harm or legal subpoena). In such instances, I will endeavour to contact you to discuss the situation in advance, unless doing so would compromise safety or legal proceedings.

Please note that this covers concerns about data handling only, not about therapeutic relationship or professional conduct, which are dealt with separately.
